Instructional Ideas

  • Invite scholars to bring in two objects from home to compare and contrast on the first day of instruction
  • Save images on your computer, or mobile learning device, prior to the second day of instruction to save on browsing time or stumbling upon inappropriate images during the lesson
  • Design a bulletin board to reflect the lesson's topic that pupils can use as a learning tool

Classroom Considerations

  • Preview the extensive materials list to confirm all materials are present prior to conducting the lessons
  • A personal note to a teacher is written on the last page, but does not interfere with the plan's understanding
  • Print images in color for best results

Pros

  • Every day provides a new activity; the change in work and discovery enhances class members' engagement
  • The lesson plan is written clearly and in detail
  • Answers to comprehension questions are provided

Cons

  • Some images are out of focus
