Global warming is "the most dangerous threat to the future of wildlife," according to the National Wildlife Federation website. This visual matching activity was designed to engage students in learning about how a variety of NC species and habitats from the mountains to the coast are being impacted by global warming and its secondary effects (drought, fire, etc.).This activity was designed to complement the article entitled "Wildlife & Global Warming" published in the February 2006 issue of Wildlife in North Carolina.
