Young scholars investigate the effects of temperature and concentration on the rate of reactions. In this "clock reaction" kinetics lesson plan, students change the concentration of one reactant and keep the second constant. An indicator is used so young scholars can measure the rate of the reaction. Students test the effects of heat on the reaction, graph their data and answer 4 questions about their results.
