Have you ever heard of Galveston, Texas? The city is actually named after Spanish governor General Bernardo Galvez. Although not widely known, Galvez's efforts on behalf of the war changed the course of the American Revolution. Also not always addressed, the contributions of Spain and Hispanic America made a very large impact on the war as well.
