Teachit.co.uk: Library of English Teaching Resources

Teachit.co.uk is a free online resource for English teachers. Content includes classroom materials, schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching tools. Look at the Top 5s, the English Teaching Online, the Teachit Trails, and the Tweakits. This is a British site, so some of the material is closely associated with British curriculum, but almost all of the material could be well-used in any language arts curriculum. You will find both free and subscription-only material, but there is plenty of the free material to make this site worth your time if you're looking for teaching ideas.
