As an ongoing instructional activity throughout the year students use temperature probes to record outside temperature and then document their data using spreadsheets. They use their weather data and class discussions to create weekly podcasts reporting class weather and news. This is a perfect way to make morning meeting more meaningful and to engage students in collaborative learning. The sky's the limit with this one.
