Spicy, Hot Colors

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Students demonstrate an understanding of colors. In this visual arts lesson, students read the text Hot, Spicy Colors and name their favorite colors. Students complete a bar graph to show the data. Students discuss how each color can evoke an emotion and use their body language to show how each color makes them feel. Students also create a color collage by cutting out objects from magazines and labeling the colors of each object in Spanish and in English.
