A collection of five interactive maps that each focus on a different perspective of Sherman's March to the Sea. These include a factual map, one that looks at African Americans and Southern civilians, one about travel, one on soldiers, and one about narrative and fictional interpretations of the March. At various points along the March, one can view a location on more than one map for different interpretations of events. Some also include short videos. The maps are also accompanied by a blog that follows Sherman's soldiers along the March.
