In this lesson, the story of Turtle Island is told to the young scholars. Each student will collect leaves and bring one to school, every day, for about a month. Discuss as a class where they come from and why they are all different. Every leaf is then pressed in a telephone book and after a month, they are brought out and assembled on a cut out paper tree.
