Classroom Considerations

  • Note that this is designed to be used as a pre-reading strategy, but could be used at other points in your Running Out of Time unit
  • You will need to borrow or buy a copy of The Boy Who Stopped Time by Anthony Taber

Pros

  • This will be a nice change of pace for pupils and allow them to make some text-to-text connections later on when they begin reading the novel

Cons

  • The journaling aspect of the plan is a bit vague and will need more fleshing out
