Remc Association of Michigan: 21 Things4 Students: 5. Digital Footprint

Curated by ACT

Each time you log on to the Internet, use your cell phone, or do anything digitally you are leaving a digital trail. In this tutorial, you will be completing five quests. In the first, you will make a record of your online activities using your own footprint, and calculate your media usage. In the second, you will watch a video about over-sharing to learn about evolving digital footprints. Next, you will work on creating your own web presence. Then you will investigate how social media can impact your digital footprint. In the final quest, you will explore good and bad sides of digital media and what you can do to create your own digital media balance. Text sections are available in many languages.
