Instructional Ideas

  • Include in a reading or language assessment
  • Use in a unit on Aesop's fables or literary themes
  • For English language learners, read the passages with the correct answers first, then see if class members can complete the activity on their own after hearing it modeled

Classroom Considerations

  • Two of the pictures are in color, but should print in black and white without affecting comprehension
  • Doesn't include an answer key

Pros

  • Helpful for both ELD classes and mainstream classes
  • Each story starts on a new page, making it easy to split up the packet if necessary

Cons

  • None
