Sorting fractions, integers, decimals and square roots into sequential order is an active process when you use a gym as your setting. After your class is divided into two groups and provided with number cards, they compete to see who can arrange themselves in the correct manner faster. The winning team receives two points and sets the physical challenge for the class. Groups then compete to see who can complete the physical challenge quicker. Again, the winning team receives two points. Switch cards to play again and reinforce different number skills. This game can easily be adapted and can also accommodate different sports, subjects, settings, and grade levels.
