Investigate polygons from rectangles to triangles to octagons. Each level of the five-problem series targets a different grade level. Beginning with the level A problem, learners examine the relationship between area and perimeter by building a rectangle from a set number of cubes. Problems B through E maintain the same problem situation but increase the rigor by incorporating different shapes and more advanced concepts such as maximum area and constructions.
