Pbs Kids Afterschool Adventure!: Operation: Numbers 1 10 Activity Plan

In this week's Afterschool Adventure, children will explore simple math activities using the numbers one through ten. Children will represent numbers in different ways, such as drawing quantities; writing numerals; and using number words. Estimating and comparing numbers to determine which of two sets of objects is bigger or smaller will be another skill explored this week. Children will end the week by practicing and representing simple addition using the numbers one through ten. As children explore numbers with familiar PBS Kids characters, they will keep track of their learning on a number chart.
