Partition Circles and Rectangles - Independent Practice Worksheet

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

What fraction is filled in? Scholars examine five shapes, divided into equal sections. They determine what fraction is filled and select the corresponding numeral fraction from a set of four choices. If your learners haven't begun simplifying yet, this is a good choice; all the fractions represent exactly what they see in the shapes, even if simplifying is possible. In the second half, learners label five segmented shapes as halves, thirds, or fourths.
