Students explore their food choices and the impact of them to the environment as well as their quality of life. In this food choices lesson, students use the film and book from the project No Impact Man to explore the impact of food choices. Students assess their own meals based on a variety of factors and develop a list of strategies for reducing food trash. Students analyze the benefits of seasonal and local food and create a plan for a meal that uses that type of food.
