Name the Rests

Help your musicians learn rest counts and rhythm symbols with these 16 fill-in-the-blank questions. Questions ask learners to draw the matching rest symbol per given rest count. The next set of questions ask the opposite, the correct rest count per given symbol. The last four questions require inferring the correct rest symbols that will equal a given sum of beats, for example eight beats. Provide your class with a note and rest chart to support completing this worksheet.
