Students explore the various reasons for animals becoming endangered and threatened with extinction. Within this lesson, students choose an animal to research and then creativity introduce their animal to the rest of the class through the creation of a web page, research report, poster board, or a play. This lesson culminates in students taking an active role in protecting endangered species through public service.
