How many different learning styles are there? Four? Five? Seven? Twelve? It depends on who you ask. But the point of this lesson is that people learn differently, and most have a way or ways that work best for them. To help identify their preferred learning styles, participants complete a "Learning Styles Profile" inventory, a "Learning Styles Summary," and then identify study methods appropriate for their style. To complete the lesson, groups identify their learning style, develop a plan for a group project, and assign roles based on preferred learning styles.
