Pupils examine the Jewish enslavement and Exodus from Egypt to gain their freedom. They read and discuss the story, "The Reminder" and work in small groups to discuss the symbols and rituals of Passover and the Fourth of July. After discussing the symbols and rituals, they share their ideas about a seder meal for the Fourth of July.
