History of the Federal Judiciary

Curated by ACT

Incredibly in-depth site regarding the history of the federal judiciary. Well organized, easy to navigate, and crisply arranged, this site can be used for many lessons. The accuracy of the information is very reliable since its author and publisher is the Federal Judicial Center. There are histories of individual justices, individual cases, and the overall growth and development of the Judicial Branch over the years. A photo tour of historical events and cases also adds to the appeal of this site. Will probably take some teacher direction and explanation if used at the middle school level.
