Historical Perspective: Two People in History

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

Open-ended and intriguing, a writing prompt about two people from history is sure to get your young scholars thinking. Have them choose two historical figures, and after brainstorming their similarities and differences, successes and failures, and impact on the modern world, assign the writing prompt to help kids structure their essays. For an extra challenge, have them choose two figures at random from completely different periods in history.
