The Highland Village Museum/An Clachan Gaidhealac aims to educate people about Gaelic culture and history in Nova Scotia, as well as to promote Gaelic culture and language in order to aid their survival. A synopsis of Gaelic history and some information about the language can be found online here. The museum also publishes a newsletter that can be downloaded. It has lots of information about Gaelic history and current happenings.
