Students demonstrate knowledge about germs. In this health lesson, students investigate what germs are, how to protect the skin by comparing the skin to apple skins, and the proper hand washing technique for getting rid of germs. Students draw what they see in relation to the apples (a whole apple and a peeled apple) over time with germs. Finally, students color and order the pictures of the proper hand washing techniques.
