Students establish similarities to George Washington's time in office with the song "Yankee Doodle."  In this U.S. History instructional activity, students learn the song "Yankee Doodle" then create a timeline of the song and a timeline of George Washington's time serving as President.  After the comparisons of the two are completed, students add an additional verse to the song and sing it to the class.
