Nanofibers can be made through electrospinning or force spinning in order to reduce the negative impact on the environment. Pupils study the role of fibers and dye on the environment through a series of five hands-on activities. Then, they play different roles such as a manufacturer, the government, and the public in order to debate how to handle environmental issues. Finally, scholars gather data and write an argumentative essay to support their ideas for how to balance the needs of everyone in the community.
