An explanation of the Substitution Augmentation Modification Redefinition Model (SAMR) Model. The author uses an analogy of making coffee at home as opposed to having one at Starbucks, and compares this to reading a book versus reading one on the iPad. She discusses what each stage of coffee enhancement and of technology integration would look like on the SAMR Model. She ends with personal observations from her own experiences teaching with SAMR.
