Young scholars create a plan for a community garden.  In this community garden lesson, students watch "A Garden Grows in Brooklyn" and discuss three reasons that the garden is important and how it is supported by people in the neighborhood.  Young scholars then work in small groups to plan, describe,  and draw their own community garden.  Students share their drawings and descriptions with the class.
