These caterpillars each have a number sequence printed on their segmented bodies, but some numbers are missing! Look at the completed caterpillars as an example, asking kids to notice a possible pattern. They should observe that the sequence increases or decreases by 10, which is also the case for the rest of the problems they will complete. Some problems have scholars counting backwards, and this may be a good way to demonstrate addition and subtraction visually. There are six sequences total.
