Comparing the Amoeba to Paramecium

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

This laboratory activity is valuable practice in comparing features of different organisms. You could use it to introduce junior biologists to protozoans. The materials and procudures for the learners are simple, and analysis questions are provided to wrap up the activity. The visual appearance of the worksheet is not attractive, but the activity itself is of value.  Some  may not like the spelling of "ameba." If that is the case, you can imitate the worksheet using "amoeba."
