Comparing Fractions and Equivalence

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet

There are a few ways to practice fraction skills here, and they will all appeal to visual learners. First, mathematicians fill in blanks in two fraction number sequences. Next, they analyze two fractions marked along a  number line to determine which is greater. Finally, another pair of fractions is represented as shaded regions in rectangles, and scholars mark which one is less. Although many of these fractions could be simplified, the level is fairly introductory and they are not reduced.
