Code-switching is the action of changing your language, behavior, or appearance based on who you're with or where you are. In this lesson plan, students will apply the idea of code-switching to how they use phones and other devices in and outside of school. They will consider different ways this can make communication more meaningful and effective and write an example post or message that uses code-switching to communicate with an online audience. Includes slideshow, student handouts, links to videos and other resources, and a quiz. Printed resources are available in Spanish as well. Requires free registration to access materials.
