Coca-Cola Ad

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet
This Coca-Cola Ad lesson plan also includes:
  • Coca-Cola Advert - Grandpa - Living a Healthy Lifestyle
  • Coca-Cola Company Press Release
  • Project
  • Join to access all included materials

Have your class members consider how their lifestyle choices may differ from those of their grandparents when they were younger. After brainstorming and discussing differences in lifestyle, pupils watch a Coca-Cola advertisement that compares the healthy habits of the past to the habits we have now. Partners work together to write about the video, and small groups work together to discuss the message of the video. Wrap up by discussing a press release about the video and assigning the provided homework assignment.

Pros

  • The plan has everything you need: a link to the video, the press release, discussion questions, and a homework assignment
  • The video is brief, but provides plenty of material for discussion
