Chuck Close is a professional painter. Big Bird gets to meet him in his art studio. Children will see how Chuck paints. Because he is disabled, he uses a variety of devices to help him do what he does best. He has to position the canvas, mix the paints, and then get to work. This is a great video for several reasons. For instance, children are introduced to a person with different capabilities, visual art, and the creative process.
