Association of Texas Professional Educators (Atpe)

The ATPE is the largest "independent educators' association in the nation." Its site includes information on all aspects of teaching (e.g. legislative action, publications, articles on such issues as discipline, and links to a multitude of resources. It's "Teacher's Toolbag" is particularly helpful for classroom instruction.
