Now that your scholars know their threes times tables, challenge them with a timed drill. They review the facts first, then cover up the equations with a piece of paper to complete the 60 problems. All of these include three and another factor between 1 and 10. Consider giving scholars 2 minutes to finish these, with the goal of answering one equation correctly every 2 seconds. Keep in mind that even scholars who know these facts well can become anxious during this type of test, throwing off assessment.
