Alex: A Monumental Idea

Curated by ACT

This is a small-group project utilizing web research, cooperation, creativity and hands-on production in order to fully understand the impact of social reformers of the 19th century. Students will be responsible for building a monument in tribute to a social reformer. Monuments will be displayed in the library. A one-page typed summary will be turned in with the monument which explains the reformer's relevance and accomplishments, as well as why the group chose that person to memorialize. There must be an inscription identifying the monument.
