Students discuss and observe examples of air pollution in order to learn how pollution may affect their daily lives. In this environmental science lesson, students identify dust as a form of pollution and discover how many materials create dust and pollution when they burn. Students construct a "flying bird" art project which they hang outside to measure air debris; students check for signs of pollution every few days.
