Pupils compare and contrast where friction occurs in robots and bicycles. For this science lesson, students label the diagram of bicycle and robots. They investigate how friction affects their different parts.

High schoolers are able to analyze gravity as an universal force. They are able to determine how the force of friction retards motion. Students are able to apply Newton's Laws of Motion ot the way the world works.

Students design an appropriate and usable storyboard and then create a claymation video. They take digital photographs frame by frame, then assemble the stop-motion movie using video software.
