The first resource in a three-part series teaches your scholars about Canadian culture. A question-and-answer format takes place via e-mail and video discussion with a Canadian class. Pupils then piece together American and Canadian culture by learning about peace parks. Groups discuss differences between Waterton Lakes National Park and Glacier National Park and answer questions about this comparison. Scholars work with the Canadian class from activity one to problem solve. Finally, groups write about the various meanings of "peace" through a park hike and/or guided image experience.
