Comment, like, share this story. Daphne has never been good at following the rules, staying inside the lines, or, especially, taking \"no\" for an answer. And, she has always, ever since she was little, had a mischievous, sneaky side to her - always. And one other thing - Daphne, for as long as she can remember, has wanted to be famous, always wanted the spotlight, and she wasn't afraid to steal it whenever she could. Being animated made things interesting, since it opened up a thousand and one ways for her to steal that spotlight, but it wasn't until she found storybooth and actually auditioned for a part in one of their videos, and got it (well, took it), that she knew she had found her calling in life - fame! It was January, 2016, and storybooth was holding auditions for YouTuber Ainura K's story. The role of Ainura's best friend wasn't a huge one, but it had some real air time and Daphne knew it would be the perfect debut for her. Sadly though, after what she thought was a great audition, she didn't get the part - storybooth said she was \"too big\" a presence for the video and those scenes between Ainura and her best friend. However, under mysterious (and questionable) circumstances, the young animated actress who had gotten the part of the best friend woke up on the first day of filming with one of her feet and half of her right hand fully erased! It would take at least a day to re-draw her, and, as luck (or good planning) would have it, Daphne just happened to show up on set, scenes memorized, and ready to go. She didn't seem at all surprised about the poor actress who had woken up partially erased. And that was it, Daphne was hooked, determined to use storybooth as her platform, her vehicle to fame, fortune, and the love and admiration of thousands. She's young still, just 15 and 3/4 - but she has auditioned to be in every single storybooth video, and much to the pain and frustration of the storybooth team, even when she doesn't get cast in a role in one of the stories, she somehow finds a way to sneak into every single storybooth video. storybooth calls her a pain, a nuisance, an unstoppable force - which she is - but she feels pretty sure that they love her anyway - perhaps, like everyone else, they're just a little bit jealous. Daphne has become a master at sneaking into storybooth videos - has made her way onto cereal boxes, into picture frames, last second selfie bombs, winking and smiling at the cameras as an extra in a crowd (which she hates) - and, it's working, storyboothers are starting to recognize her - she's even signed a few autographs. The storybooth team was working on a new video when this latest Daphne disaster occurred. It was late, the animator was tired, and so it was easy for Daphne to distract them and do her thing, and she went all out - unstoppable as usual - and more Daphne than ever. A full on storybooth video takeover, which by the way, she's very proud of - theme song and all. She has big plans now, to launch her own YouTube channel some day and to hang with all those other YT celebrities, but she has vowed never to forget her humble beginnings and to never, ever pass up an opportunity to sneak into a storybooth video and create some serious Daphne drama on screen. storybooth has encouraged her to go ahead and move on, to pursue her dreams and not worry about those humble beginnings, but she feels sure they're just saying that to be nice. After all, what would a storybooth video be without Daphne making an appearance? - - - We love this almost true story. What's your story? We want to hear it!
